DPES Sign Expo China 2016 Overseas Promotion ——VietAd 2016

In the past half year of 2016, DPES has successfully held DEPS Sign & LED Expo in Guangzhou, Shenyang, Changsha and Kunming.  As an important industrial sign expo in China, DPES Sign & LED Expo China 2017 will be held in PWTC, Guangzhou during Feb. 12-15, 2017.   This is an international sign expo and DPES marketing group begin the overseas promotion from July, 2016. 

For the first stop, we went to HCM City, Vietnam to attend the 7th Vietnam International Advertising Equipment and Technology Exhibition ( VietAd 2016), which was held in Saigon Exhibition & Convention Center on July 28-30.  

Vietnam is ranked the 6th largest economy in Southeast Asia.  Although Vietnam advertising industry has been established not so long ago, around 20 years old, but has been growing very fast.  At present, 90% of sign equipments in Vietnam are imported and there are about 5,000 companies operating  in advertising industry. Most of the global advertising groups and corporations have established their representative offices in Vietnam.

Located in the heart of Phu My Hung New City, Saigon Exhibition & Convention Center (SECC) is the largest and most modern exhibition center of the South of Vietnam, and only 15 minutes from the centre of Ho Chi Minh City, 30 minutes from Tan Son Nhat International Airport.  SECC comprises four indoor exhibition halls totaling to 40,000 square meters, additional outdoor exhibition space of 15,000 - 20,000 square meters.  This is the first time for VietAd to be held in SECC.

VietAd is the only advertising equipment and technology exhibition in Vietnam.  Since it was held the first time in 2011, VietAd has been held for 6 editions.  VietAd 2016 was organized by Dongnam Promotion Co. and supported by Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Ministry of Industry and Trade, Ministry of Information and Communication.

Opening Ceremony

The opening ceremony of VietAd 2016 was held at 9:30 am on July 28th.  Mr. Dongwei Sun - DPES Genernal Manager was invited to attend the ribbon-cutting ceremony as a main guest.  Other guests included: representatives from Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourisims, Ministry of Trade and Industry, Vietnam Advertising Associations, Hochiminh City Advertising Associations, Hochiminh Union of Business Associations, etc.

DPES adopted a new VI from 2016 and made a comprehensive revision of the official website.  So from VietAd 2016, the new style posters were used on the booth.

When DPES staff promoted DPES Sign Expo China 2017 to the visitors passing by, most of them said that they knew our show and ever visited before.  More than half of the attendees represented their satifaction to DPES, because they could learn the development trend of sign equipment and got in touch with the good suppliers through DPES Sign Expo China.

Brief Introduction of VietAd 2016 

This year, VietAd 2016 moved to the biggest and most advanced exhibition center of HCM City - SECC.  There were aournd 250 booths and professional visitors were about 8,000.

VietAd 2016 used Hall 1 of SECC with a net area of 8,000 sqm.  There were 80 exhibitors from Vietnam, China, India, Korea and Japan attending the show.

Most of the Chinese famous brand sign equipment manfufacturers have agents in Vietnam.  At VietAd 2016, visitors could see them everwhere, including Infiniti, Wit-color, Xuli, Jieke, Aowei, ect.

World famous brands inclued: EPSON、Canon，Mimaki、Dilli、Roland, ect.
