Jan. 15-17, 2017 are important dates for SGI Dubai 2017, as this year has been its 20th edition.  Although the scale reduced slightly due to the bglobal economic downturn, SGI Dubai 2017 still used 5 halls, and set up special areas for retails and LED display.  The exhibitors were up to 290.

The Opening Ceremony of SGI Dubai 2017 kept its simple mode as it always has been.  It opened at 10:00 on Jan. 15th, and most of the attentees were the government officiers.

The organizer set up a registration center at the entrance of each hall, hence the flow of people could be dispersed, so as to avoid crowded situation and and effectively ensure the distribution of the audience of each hall.

SGI Dubai is the most anticipated event of the year in the MENA region for exhibitors and visitors in the Signage, Digital Signage, Retail Signage Solutions, Outdoor media, Screen and Digital printing industries. 

DPES booth was located in Hall 4, booth number: 4-B19.

Same as before, DPES promotion specialists distributed show leaflets in front of the booth and at the main entrance, warmly inviting the visitors to attend DPES Sign & LED Expo China 2017 which would be held in Poly World Trade Center, Guangzhou, China on Feb. 12-15, 2017.

We were pleased that many visitors said they had been aware of DPES Sign Expo China.  Some of them even told us they had booked flight tickets to come to DPES 2017.

SGI Dubai 2017 used 5 Halls of Dubai World Trade Center, with a total area of 25,000 sqm.  There were almost 300 exhibitors attended the show.

International brands were basically concentrated in Hall 6 & 7.  HP, Canon, OKI, AGFA, EPSON, Roland, Mimaki, 3M, efi, Brother, Mutoh, dilli, etc. showcased their latest products by themselves or through their local agencies.

China Pavilion has always been the biggest overseas group of SGI Dubai.  In 2017, there were 128 Chinese companies participated in SGI Dubai, most of them were material and LED manufactueres.
