The DPES Overseas Promotion team arrived in South Africa on September 13, 2023, to participate in the FESPA Africa 2023,held from September 13 to 15 at the Gallagher Convention Centre in Johannesburg.

South Africa stands as one of Africa's most influential economies, with data released by the General Administration of Customs of China in August indicating that the trade between China and South Africa reached 377.13 billion yuan in 2022, marking an 8.6% increase compared to the previous year. This year, this trade partnership has continued to strengthen, with bilateral trade totaling 226.15 billion yuan in the first seven months, reflecting a 10.5% year-on-year increase. South Africa maintains its position as China's largest trading partner in Africa.

FESPA Africa represents the largest advertising exhibition in South Africa, co-located with Africa Print, Modern Marketing and Graphics, and Print & Sign. This edition of the exhibition occupies Halls 2 and 3 of the Gallagher Convention Centre, boasting a total exhibition area of approximately 10,000 square meters. The event hosts around 150 exhibitors and anticipates attracting over 6,000 professional visitors.
